It was a night of celebration and accomplishment as graduates of the Basic EMDR Therapy Training Course and Trauma Psychosocial Support Plus (TPSS+) gathered at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on June 17, 2023, to mark the culmination of their intensive training journey.
The evening began with a heartfelt overview presented by the President of EMDR Lebanon, who reflected on the comprehensive training journey that spanned from 2020 to 2023. This journey was not just a series of courses but a commitment to healing and helping others. The President highlighted the tremendous impact the graduates have made by providing trauma psychotherapy and trauma psychosocial support to beneficiaries during this period.
The event then transitioned to the highly anticipated certificate distribution, a moment that symbolized the trainees’ dedication, hard work, and successful completion of the Basic EMDR Therapy Training Course and Trauma Psychosocial Support Plus (TPSS+). As the formalities concluded, the graduates, along with their consultants, let loose and embraced the spirit of celebration. The DJ’s music permeated the atmosphere, starting with songs that pulled our graduates to their feet to dance. The room was filled with laughter, happiness, and a sense of togetherness as everyone gathered to celebrate their accomplishment.
